Transperth has some simple rules to follow to make your journey better:
DO always have a valid ticket or Smartrider and show it on request.
DO carry proof of concession and supply it on request if you are travelling on a concession ticket.
DO offer your seat to passengers with special needs, for example seniors, people with a disability and parents carrying small children.
DO move down the train to make way for other people.

DO stand for adults if you’re a student on a 50 cent fare.
DO be courteous to other passengers. Swearing and talking loudly can seem threatening to other passengers and make them feel uncomfortable.
DO keep the volume low on all audio devices and always use headphones.
DON’T put your feet on the seats or damage Transperth property; lots of work goes into keeping the trains and buses clean and comfortable – keep them that way!
DON’T smoke on or around public transport.
DON’T eat or drink on public transport and take any rubbish with you.
DON’T try to talk to the driver on buses when the bus is moving, it takes a lot of concentration to drive a bus.
If everyone follows these rules then catching public transport can be a fun and safe experience for all passengers and staff.
If you see anyone not following these rules you can either report it to a Transit Officer or remove yourself if you feel unsafe.
